「生活の中にあるあなたとの踊り」

他者と実際に会うことができない環境で、協働しながらダンスをつくるプロセスや、取り巻く生活への関心から構想したwebページ上での公開作品。民俗舞踊のような、生活と踊りが一体となる制作をめざした。

​

対面することができない環境での協働では、身体はそれぞれの分割された空間の中にある。本作では、映像を他者の空間に再生（ある種の降霊）させることで、同一空間への他者の介入を錯覚する可能性を考えた。

映像がデジタルであるのに対し、その再生デバイスは極めて現実的な物質である。アニミニズム的に捉えるならば、デジタルイメージではなく、デバイス、物質と関わりを持つことには、相互的な関わりが生まれるはずである。映像デバイスの存在を改めて認めることから、身体的な関わりが思い起こされることを期待したい。

[Dance with You in Your “Life"]

I am interested in the process of creating dance in collaboration with people and the documentary nature of life. I would like to create a relationship between dance and the extension of life, like folk dance, rather than dance on stage.

​

In the case of collaboration when it is not possible to be face to face, the body is in its own divided space. For this work, I thought that by having the images played back in another person's space (a kind of seance), it might be possible to create the illusion of a body living together in the same space.

Also, while the images are digital, the playback device is a very real substance. I am interested in animist ideology, and I believe that there is a reciprocal relationship that arises when we engage with matter. I hope that when a visual medium engages with another person in the same space, a physical engagement is recalled.
